Chairman, Dr.A.R.Shukla (Ph.D- Physics, Banaras Hindu University)
Dr. Shukla has been superannuated as Adviser (Bio-energy), in the pay scale of Joint Secretary, from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, New Delhi in September, 2011 after working for about 29 years. He has 40 years of experience in policy; planning; developing national level Renewable Energy R&D and technology demonstration projects and dissemination programmes and their implementation and monitoring in the country including at grass root level; besides research; technology development & innovation and standards development.

In NDMI, Dr.Shukla looks after Policy Planning, R&D Technology Development, and Business Promotion. Since 29 years in the Ministry of New and renewable Energy, he has worked for 16 different programmes and activities including programmes like biogas, improved biomass cook-stoves, solar thermal, alternate fuels for surface transportation, geo-thermal, tidal energy, integrated rural energy, technology information forecasting & databank, besides renewable energy R&D, policy, planning and co-ordination and setting up SSS-NIRE, an autonomous institution of the Ministry and starting a new journal 'Antika' on improved biomass cook-stoves. He has conceived, launched, implemented and monitored new technology innovation projects and national programmes starting from the year1984-85 to 2011-12 in the Ministry. He has visited a number of countries including Italy, USA, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Brazil, Belgium, Canada, and Trinidad & Tobago at different occasions in connection with various assignments of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. He has organized international training programme & conference and prepared report for FAO.

Dr. Shukla has obtained Ph.D. degree from Banaras Hindu University in Physics and worked at IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IISC Bangalore and CSMCRI Bhavnagar as a senior scientific officer, scientist, post-doctoral fellow and researcher, besides working in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in various positions. He has published/ prepared about 100 research publications, reports, documents and articles. He has been instrumental in starting Biogas Forum-India (Big-FIN) for promoting the cause of biomass waste treatment, biogas (energy) generation and bio-fertilizer production and he was President since inception.

He has special interest and experience in biogas generation, purification & bottling and organic/ bio-fertilizer production, improved biomass cook-stoves to reduce cutting of forests, biomass waste treatment and biomass and water resource conservation and providing life-line energy to the last man in the society including rural, remote and forest areas through renewable energy.

Mr. Saurabh Sagar Jaiswal, NDMI's Co-Founder and CEO, possesses more than 5 years of consulting experience for improved cookstove programs. He witnessed the fundamental need of the integration of cookstove design, manufacturing, and distribution by exploring himself in the traditional market of clean cooking solutions as a dedicated, outstanding pioneer. Mr. Saurabh is a Solution Designer, Finance & Investment Planner & looks after Business Strategy. He is a Business Post Graduate having 10+ years of experience in all sophisticated characteristics of management covering manufacturing, marketing, finance, Industrial relationships and responsibility for management of the organization.

An Entrepreneur with track record of defining new markets, assembling teams, and bringing innovative technologies to market through focused execution. Mr.Saurabh envisioned a manufacturing enterprise that would bring together best-in-class engineering, production technology and distribution in order to create the sustainable and scalable stove dissemination. He increased turnover and profit, whilst streamlining the organization and enhancing share value.He has designed more than 10 designs of cook stoves to burn rice husk (and other agro/wood-waste).

He has always been a pioneer in bringing in right technology with up-gradation from time to time to cater to changing global scenario in terms of application and requirements of cook stoves his R&D is always on with existing product and new product development.

Mr.Arvind Sagar Jaiswal, NDMI's Co-Founder and MD
Mr.Arvind Sagar Jaiswal, NDMI's Co-Founder and MD has worked for UPPCL (Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd) India has spent 25+ years in Metal Fabrication Industry. He is responsible for all the End to End manufacturing process (which starts from Metal fabrication of the stove to Quality Control to Delievery.Besides, he works on new projects. He runs the company on an efficient and professional basis, having a detailed and extensive knowledge of the day-to-day operation of the organization. He is already an expert in metal fabrication from last 25 years he seems no problem in producing these energy efficient cook stoves at mass level.

As Mr. Arvind Jaiswal is a Fabrication Specialist, he looks after the Production Operation Management & Supply Chain.

He develops a production cost analysis tool for the local production of improved cookstoves and contributed to project's research, capacity and knowledge building activities. Besides his belief in Professionalism & investment in proven technologies always keep him in limelight & set him apart in the crowd of present day entrepreneurs.
